Jesus Leads Me — Hoodie

"Jesus Leads Me"

There was a season when we believed the direction of our lives was ours to set — that if we planned well enough and held tightly enough, the way would open before us. But the soul was never meant to lead itself. To say "Jesus leads me" is not to announce a plan we have made; it is to rest in a hand that was guiding us long before we thought to ask. He leads beside still waters when we would have run ourselves dry, and through the valley when we would have refused to walk it at all. His leading is not always the path we would have chosen, but it is always the one that ends in Him. We do not follow because we can see the whole of the way — we follow because we have come to trust the One who can. Beloved, the leading has never depended on the clearness of your sight, but on the faithfulness of your Shepherd, and He has never once led a trusting soul astray
