DETACHED FROM VANITY. ATTACHED TO ETERNITY.
Vanity is any life we still cherish outside of Christ — the approval of people, the things we own, the status we protect, the future we try to build with our own hands. These are the well-dressed thoughts that steal life from the soul without us even knowing it. But eternity is the inheritance God has kept for those who are learning to let go of this world and hold on to Him instead. The day we begin to see these things for what they truly are, is the day our soul begins to breathe. Beloved, one way to starve the fears and anxieties of this world is by taking our eyes off her offerings and placing them on the words of Christ.

SAVED TO BE SAVED
When we gave our lives to Christ, our spirit was made new — we became new creations. But our soul — our mind, our feelings, and our will — remained unchanged. It still carried the old nature. And so, the soul also needs to be saved. This is what the word of righteousness does: it gives the soul the nutrients it needs to grow out of the old nature and into the new one — the nature called Christ. It is the meat of the word that helps us journey from being children in Christ to becoming men in Christ. We were saved in our spirit, yes — but our soul is still being saved. And that journey is the most important one we will ever take.

THIS USER WILL BE PERFECT ONE DAY
God said “Be perfect” — and He does not command what He cannot complete in us. Perfection is not a boast. It is the destination of every soul that has submitted to the daily work of the faith. The goal is to keep living by the word of Christ until the mind called Christ is fully formed in us — until we can see things the way He sees them, respond to life the way He responded, and overcome this world the way He overcame it. None of us are there yet. But we are on the journey, and the One who began this work is faithful to finish it. This user is under development — and the Developer does not fail.

MY OCCUPATION: LOVE WALK
Having loved us first, our Lord Jesus expects a genuine love from us — not a love that comes and goes with our moods, but one that is fueled daily by His word. The love walk is a conversation that happens every day: choosing to forbear, believe, hope, and endure all things, even when it costs us something. It is the journey from faith to Charity — the journey where love stops being something we try to do and starts becoming who we are. Those who walk this path would find that it is the only occupation that truly satisfies the soul, because it prepares us for the fellowship of the Son and the Father.
