Shipping policy

At Engraved Words, every piece is made to order. Once you place your order, it enters production shortly after purchase.
Order Processing & Production
All items require production time before shipment.
Production typically takes 2–7 business days, though this may vary during high-volume periods, product launches, or holidays.
Production time is separate from shipping time.
Once your order has completed production, it will be shipped using the carrier selected at checkout. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched. Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your tracking email for the carrier to update the tracking information.
Shipping Rates
Orders within the United States over $49: Free Standard Shipping Orders within the United States under $49: $5.99 flat rate Express shipping (United States): Calculated at checkout International shipping: Calculated at checkout based on destination and order weight
Estimated Shipping Times
Shipping times vary depending on destination and carrier.
United States (Standard): 3–5 business days after shipment United States (Express): 2–3 business days after shipment Canada: 6–12 business days after shipment European Union: 8–15 business days after shipment Australia and New Zealand: 8–20 business days after shipment Other international destinations: 10–20 business days after shipment
Most customers within the United States receive their order within 5–12 business days from purchase. International customers should expect 10–30 business days depending on location.
Shipping timeframes are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Shipping Delays
We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, weather events, or circumstances outside our control.
Shipping delays do not qualify for refunds.
Tracking & Delivery Responsibility
Once tracking information has been provided and the order is in the carrier's possession, delivery responsibility transfers to the shipping carrier.
If a package is marked as delivered by the carrier, it is considered delivered. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery.
If tracking shows delivery but you have not received your package, we recommend verifying the shipping address you provided, checking with household members or neighbors, and contacting the carrier directly to initiate a claim.
Incorrect Address & Undeliverable Packages
Customers are responsible for entering accurate shipping information at checkout. Please double-check your shipping address before completing your order — we are unable to modify or redirect orders once they enter production.
Orders returned due to incorrect address entry, failed delivery attempts, or refused delivery are not eligible for refund.
If an order is returned to sender due to address error, reshipping fees may apply.
PO Boxes and APO/FPO
We are able to ship to PO Boxes and APO/FPO addresses within the United States via USPS. Please note that delivery to these addresses may take longer than standard shipping estimates.
International Orders & Customs
International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import fees determined by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.
We are not responsible for customs delays or additional import charges. We recommend checking with your country's customs office before ordering to understand any potential fees.
Damaged Packages in Transit
If your package arrives visibly damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@engravedwords.com with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the package and product.
We will review the issue and provide a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Payment Disputes
We encourage customers to contact us directly at hello@engravedwords.com before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so we can resolve any issue promptly.
