Refund policy

At Engraved Words, every piece is made to order with intention and care. Each Engraving is produced specifically for your order — printed, packed, and shipped just for you.

Because our products are made to order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for sizing issues, change of mind, or incorrect selections. We encourage you to review all product details and our sizing guide carefully before purchasing.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we will make it right.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@engravedwords.com and include:

Your order number A brief description of the issue Clear photos of the product and packaging

All claims are reviewed individually. Replacement or refund decisions are made at our sole discretion after evaluation.

Requests submitted beyond 7 days of confirmed delivery may not be eligible for review.

Slight variations in print placement, garment color tone, or design alignment may occur due to the nature of on-demand production and are not considered defects.

 

Production & Shipping

All items are made to order. Production typically takes 2–7 business days. Production times are separate from shipping times and may vary depending on order volume and seasonal demand.

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing, or events outside our control.

If a package is marked as delivered by the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. In these cases, we recommend contacting the carrier directly to file a claim.

Orders returned due to refused delivery or incorrect address entry are not eligible for refund. Reshipping fees may apply.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout. Please double-check your address before completing your order — we are unable to modify or redirect orders once they enter production.

 

Non-Returnable Situations

Because our products are made to order, we are unable to offer refunds or replacements for:

Incorrect size or color selected by the customer Minor color variations due to screen display differences Shipping delays outside our control Items that have been worn, washed, or altered

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

 

Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. If an issue qualifies under the damaged or incorrect order conditions above, we will provide a replacement or issue a refund as determined during review.

 

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

We encourage customers to contact us directly at hello@engravedwords.com before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so we can resolve the matter promptly.

 

International Orders

For orders shipped outside the United States, statutory consumer rights in your country may apply. Certain exemptions may apply to made-to-order goods. Please contact us at hello@engravedwords.com for guidance regarding your specific situation.

International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping cost.
